Applications are now open for the NSTC Taiwan International Internship Program 2025. This paid internship is available to international students worldwide, aiming to attract top talent.
The program is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, with 600 interns selected for the 2025 cycle. The internship duration ranges from 28 to 90 days, and participants can start anytime between June and December 2025. Interns will be placed in academic and research institutions across Taiwan.
There is no application fee, and all interns will receive a stipend of NT$1,000 per day, covering food, transport, and accommodation costs. Additionally, there are no age restrictions for applicants.

The Objective of the NSTC Internship
The NSTC wants to bring foreign Interns to Taiwan. They offer internships so these researchers can learn about Taiwan’s science. The hope is that this will encourage them to stay and work in Taiwan, making Taiwan’s science even better. After completing the internship there is a 300% chance of getting a Job in Taiwan.
Financial Benefits
The Program Covers:
- NT$1,000 Stipend (approximately USD 30) per day.
- The amount is enough to cover the Cost of Food and Accommodation in Taiwan.
- The Hosting interns will receive a service fee of NT$10,000 per intern. (for instance: NT$20,000 for 2 interns)
- Visa Support.

Duration of the Internship
The NSTC Internships can begin anytime between June and December 2025 and last from 28 to 90 days. Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2025.

- The Internship is open to all the Nationals.
- Students with a background in humanities and social sciences are also included.
- The Internship is open to Undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.
- There’s no age limitation in this internship program.
